At some point, in some way, your company NEEDS to communicate verbally with customers, prospects, colleagues, and business associates. But not every phone call is equally important. In fact, if you've worked in any sales or secretarial role, you know that MOST of the initial calls you receive aren't important. This is one of the primary reasons why secretaries and assistants exist... but for most new businesses, the owner of the company ends up answering many of these phone calls, because nobody else is on staff to do it. As a result, these phone conversations chew up a lot of their valuable time. Luckily for us, we live in a time when there are several different companies that have full-time virtual receptionists you can hire to simply be available to take these phone calls for you. One of the most well-known companies is called PatLive. In this video, I'll show you what it is, how it works, what you can expect if you decide to work with them, and some of the things I like (and dislike) about it.
